The Black-Man's Burdon è un doppio album del gruppo funk Eric Burdon and War. Era il secondo di due album prima che Burdon se ne andasse e la band rimanente continuasse come War senza di lui.
Il titolo è un gioco di parole su The Black Man's Burden, un'espressione che si riferisce alla schiavitù nera, usata come titolo di un libro di ED Morel (1920) in risposta al poema "The White Man's Burden" (1899) di Rudyard Kipling , che si riferisce (e sostiene) l'imperialismo americano (inclusa la sua storia di schiavitù). Disco strano con un Burdon's sound irriconoscibile. Peccato...una buona idea dagli scarsissimi risultati.
